Exit 31, Utica: the closest
Six minutes from the toll plaza to the shop. If you have a choice of exits, this is the one, from either direction.
Exit 30, Herkimer: coming from the east
Westbound from Albany or Little Falls, Exit 30 at Herkimer is the first way off. From there the shop is about 12 miles west on local roads along Route 5 and 5S. If the vehicle will make one more exit, staying on to Exit 31 is about as quick and keeps you on the highway.
Exit 32, Westmoreland: coming from the west
Eastbound from Syracuse or Rome, Exit 32 is about 15 miles from the shop by local roads. Staying on the Thruway to Exit 31 is usually the quicker run, so only take 32 if the truck needs to get off now.
